Insulation & Metal Fabrication Tech.

OVERVIEW:
The position of Insulation & Metal Fabrication Tech will insulate pipe, vessels and buildings, as well as fabricate metal over pipe insulation, vessels and buildings. This position will report to the Insulation Supervisor.


RESPONSIBILITY'S MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Install pipe and vessel insulation according to specification
• Install metal over insulation according to specification
• Complete daily safety checks of equipment and tools
• Complete all necessary paperwork and promote a safe work environment 
• Keep yard and work area clean of debris and utilize good house keeping
• Help track inventory and pick up purchased materials
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Take measurements for and fabricate insulation blankets
• Complete all work in a safe manner and on time providing a quality end result

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Basic:

• Must have oilfield insulation and metal fabrication experience
• Must be able to communicate with crew and supervisors
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of equipment being insulated

Preferred:

• 3-5 years experience with oilfield insulation and metal fabrication
• Knowledge in insulation blanket fabrication
